Broken Dreams

A friend offered me this piece of encouragement almost 20 years ago...it has carried me through many rough patches along the way. From my collection of inspirations...

Broken Dreams

As children bring their broken toys
With tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God
Because He was my friend.

But then instead of leaving Him
In peace to work alone,
I hung around and tried to help
With ways that were my own.

Patiently Waiting



Patience...the answers will come to you in God's time.
Be still and listen between the silence of the night and
the dawning of the new day. The whisper of God's loving
voice calls softly to your listening ear. Be still, my child...
Lay down your heavy burdens...the weight is too much for
you to bear. Let My peace settle upon you like a soft blanket.
Close your eyes and rest in the beauty of my Grace and the surety

of my everlasting arms.

How Much are You Loved?
